How do I untag a transaction?

Directions on how to untag a transaction from a client matter. You can delete or reassign the transaction to a different client matter.

Step 1: Select the transaction or client matter where the transaction is currently tagged.

Note: If you are not sure which Client Matter the transaction was assigned to, you can access the All Transactions page by clicking the arrow next to the IOLA/IOLTA Now Total Balance. From there you can search the transaction and reassign it to the correct Client Matter.

Step 2: Locate the transaction that is incorrect

 

Step 3: On the right side of the transaction window select the edit icon and click ‘edit transaction tag’.

Step 4: Once you have selected ‘edit transaction’ you can either delete the client matter by clicking the gray ‘x’ or you can reassign by clicking a new client matter from the drop-down menu.
