If you are an M&T Merchant Services user, you can set up an integration to link your payment gateway merchant account(s) to Nota. Nota will display the details of merchant transactions to simplify allocating to Client Matters & Categories.
To get started, the Admin needs to raise a request to integrate merchant account(s) in Nota settings through the Integrations section.
Only Admins can request to integrate merchant account(s) In Nota
Note: You can integrate M&T Payment Gateway merchant account(s) with your Trust Accounts & Checking Accounts!
Step 1. This is located on the left menu panel under integrations when you are viewing your Trust Account or Checking Account Dashboard. Click into your IOLTA or Checking Account from your My Accounts Page.

Step 2. Next, hover over the menu bar on the left hand side and click the arrow down to open the integrations options.

Step 3. Click on “M&T Payment Gateway” and then on the next screen, click the ‘Link M&T Payment Gateway’ Button.

Step 4. Next, the Admin will accept terms and a lightbox will be displayed with.

Step 5. Admin will need to select the Nota deposit account linked to the appropriate merchant id and enter the appropriate Gateway Id. Click here to know how to find Gateway Id on M&T Merchant Services Merchant Portal.


Step 6. Once the request is submitted, Admin will receive an email about the request and the request will be displayed to the Admin with status as “Initiated” and a request id will be assigned.

Once the request is verified and approved, the link gets established and the details of the merchant will display on the untagged / uncategorised tables under the main merchant transaction.
Note: Transactions from the approval date will get displayed for the linked deposit account.
