How do I manually import bank transactions?

Importing Bank Transactions:

Nota allows you to import bank transactions to your manually connected bank account:


  • Click the Import bank transactions button on the Trust Account Dashboard, above the Untagged Transactions

  • Click the Import Bank Transactions button on the All Transactions Screen

  • You will be able to download a Template from Nota that you can input your transactions to and easily import into Nota

  • Fill out the template with the transactions you want to enter into Nota. You will need the date, description, credit/debit amount

  • Choose to Export this template to .CSV

  • In the Nota application, click the Choose File button on the importer and choose the file you want to import. Click Import
  • Nota will present a review screen of the transactions found on the file. Review and choose Import to complete

  • If there are errors or concerns Nota will alert you in the screen. If you need to make corrections, cancel and edit your file.

  • After click of Import, you are returned to the dashboard and your transactions should be displayed under Untagged Transactions.

  • Repeat the import feature every time you have transactions to import!
