How do I archive a matter?

Archiving matters allows you to clear up the clutter on your dashboard. The matter will fall off the dashboard and can be accessed by clicking on “View all archived client matters.”

Most Nota users archive when the case is closed out or brought to a $0 ledger balance. The matter will stay in Nota’s database for up to 7 years. You can still click into the matter once archived. The matters can be “unarchived” if you need to work on the matter again.

Step 1: You can archive the matter by clicking on the three dots on the top right of the tile:

Step 2: Simply select “Archive,” and your matter will no longer display on your dashboard:

Step 3: To access your archived matters, click “View all archived client matters.”

If you need to unarchive, click on the three dots again and select “Unarchive”.
